ايتها الأرض، I Love you urgently
The Saudi Art Council's 2019 Community Participation Program for the I Love You Urgently exhibition centered around the concept of environmental protection and sustainability. This theme was present in the artworks presented in the exhibition, and we designed programs based on these concepts for the community to engage with.
Our programs were aimed at all segments of society and included film screenings and workshops for children, adults, and professionals in the artistic field. Through these workshops, we sought to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage individuals to take action to protect the environment.
The film screenings provided an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the impact of human activity on the environment and the importance of sustainable practices. These films showcased various aspects of environmental conservation, such as renewable energy and waste reduction, and inspired individuals to make positive changes in their own lives to protect the environment.
The workshops offered as part of the Community Participation Program for the I Love You Urgently exhibition had the objective of engaging individuals of all ages and skill levels in fun and interactive activities that taught them about sustainable practices in the arts. This included creative activities, such as painting and sculpting, aimed at introducing environmental concepts to children. For adults and art professionals, specialized workshops were offered in order to provide a more in-depth learning experience.
These workshops were held over the three-month duration of the exhibition and were allocated a fixed day for each session. In order to make the workshops accessible to a broad audience, we identified target groups within society and made the schedule after studying the current state of the community. These workshops were held over the three months of the exhibition and each session was allocated a specific day. In order to make the workshops accessible to a wide audience, we identified the target groups within the community and set the schedule after studying the current situation of the community. Due to the Covid pandemic, the program shifted in its last month of that year to become virtual.
Overall, the Community Participation Program for the I Love You Urgently exhibition was a success in raising awareness about environmental protection and sustainability. Through our programs, we sought to inspire individuals to take action towards a more sustainable future, and we hope that these efforts have made a positive impact on our community.
