Islamic Art

As a Saudi artist who studied Islamic art at KAU for both my bachelor's and master's degrees, I have a deep appreciation for the beauty and intricacy of Islamic patterns. I am consistently inspired by the geometric shapes, bold colors, and symmetrical designs that are characteristic of Islamic art, and I seek to incorporate these elements into my own painting practice. Using the same traditional methods of creating Islamic patterns, I aim to create contemporary, original works of art that both honor and innovate upon this rich artistic heritage.

For me, Islamic art represents a bridge between the past and the present - a way to preserve the cultural and artistic traditions of the past through the lens of modern art. Through extensive experimentation and exploration of Islamic patterns, I have developed my own unique artistic style that pays homage to Islamic art while remaining true to my own creative vision. As a Saudi artist, I take pride in using my art to both celebrate my own cultural heritage and share it with others around the world, spreading understanding and appreciation of Islamic art and culture.
